My Space is a Green Place: Student Art Contest

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is proud to announce "My Space is a Green Place: What Parks Mean to Me," an art contest open to students in grades 2 - 12.

Using your creativity and love of nature, tell us what parks mean to you.  Submissions can be made in photography, drawing or painting, 3-dimensional artwork, writing (2 pages or less), and video (2 minutes or less).  Entries will be judged in the following three categories: grades 2 - 5, grades 6 - 8, and grades 9 - 12.  All artwork must be mailed or dropped off by August 20, 2008 to the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, 2000 Technology Drive, Suite 300, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

Prizes include iPods, Burton Hoodies, outdoor gear, and much more, plus the chance to show your work for attendees of the "Body and Soul" conference this September.

An application form must be included with your submission.  To download it, click here
